I have many teachers asking for this feature. They want to be able to toggle between students on Grades View Page. Currently, they have to back out and then find the student and click back in. Anyone know a workaround?
@jfox5 Your teachers may want to look at the Individual Gradebook view instead of the Traditional Gradebook as this give the option to view one student at a time and have an option to more the the net and previous student. I'm confused by your question. What do you mean by "Grades View" page? The two main ways to enter grades on Canvas is through the Gradebook or Speed Grader.
If you're simply entering numerical grades in the Gradebook, you can easily go down a column of students. If you're evaluating each student's submission, you'll be using Speed Grader. With Speed Grader, you can click on the arrow to go to the next student, or use the dropdown box of student names.
There's no need to "go out and come back in again." What am I missing?
When in Speed Grader, under the "Grade by question" option, the Next Student and Previous Student buttons no longer work.

The fact that the teacher's gradebook view only displays the letter grade in the "override" column makes it difficult for the teacher to review grades, as the numerical grade entered cannot be determined in that view.
Screen readers seem to read out the LaTex and not the equation.
