Hi,
I just started my training. I am asked to embed stuff/links. Where am I supposed to do this?
Am I supposed to follow along and practice on my Sandbox Course?
Hello @TRQR ,Thank you for posting on the Instructure Community!I thought I'd provide you with some information on how to embed links, and other resources like that. To do this, you will utilize the Rich-Content-Editor, otherwise known as the RCE.The RCE is where you will have access to go in and embed resources or add links, and it is located at the top of any page that you're creating content on.I hope that answered your question in basic terms, however I'm going to provide you with a link below that will direct you to a guide with more information on this topic. Take a look at it, as I feel it will help.I wish you the best of luck with your training, always feel free to come back to us with more questions!NoahGUIDE LINK: How to use the Rich Content Editor
Hi @TRQR ,
following on from @Chris_Hofer and @NoahBoswell who always give great advice, I'm going to suggest that you access these two sites - and recommend to your training team that the first thing that they do in the training delivery / content, is give you access to these.
(Give a community novice an answer and they'll be happy for the day, give them access to the Instructure Canvas help guides and they'll be happy for the year ....)
Now you Can spend many happy hours exploring your possibilities - we'll be here for you if you can't find what you are looking for in the guides ....

Hi all, Quick question about the Gradebook color status for a 2-part checkpoint discussion. If a student completes the first due date (initial post) but does not complete the required replies by the second due date, is there any way for Canvas to automatically show a color (e.g., missing/late) instead of staying as…
Among all the things that I wish Canvas had is that one! Is it something that is been worked on? We had it in Blackboard (legacy) and I sorely miss and need in Canvas (we just transitioned to it from Bb). Please add this very needed feature!
My Canvas shell has three different sections that all meet at different times throughout the week. I need to be able to batch edit assignment due dates by section, but right now Canvas can't filter by section for batch edit. My only option is now to manually (tediously) edit due dates for each assignment individually.
Morning! One of the more frustrating aspects of Canvas are groups and the issues that show up when copying courses that have them. But now we have yet another issue. Most recently we have had instances where people mark an assignment/discussion as a group assignment but then do not link the discussion or assignment to any…
