app on iPhone notifies me 4x. Doesn’t matter the type of notification, I receive it 4 separate times in a row. How can I stop this?
Hi Kenzie,
The first thing I'd suggest in a scenario like this would be to completely delete the app from your phone, then download the latest version from the App Store or Play Store, log back in, and see if things work correctly. If that doesn't solve the issue, your best bet for a fix would be to contact Canvas support through whatever means your school/institution has available.
Hope this helps!

Hello @KenzieBallweg
I assume that you were able to resolve this issue by now...but if not, there is a reason as to why this would be happening.
This can typically happen if you have deleted the app and reinstalled it a few times. You will also see this if you have signed in on the app from different mobile devices. When you sign into Canvas on the mobile app, an access tokens is generated for you and they never actually expire. The 4 notifications that are being pushed out to you each time are most likely due to there being 4 API access tokens registered to your account.
To correct the issue, completely sign out of the application on your mobile device. From there, log into Canvas on a computer using the browser. You will just need to remove all of your API access tokens for the Canvas mobile app on a browser. You can access these tokens by clicking on the Account button and selecting Settings. The access tokens are located under the Approved integrations area of your account settings page. Once you delete those tokens, you can sign in again on the app from your mobile device and it will assign a brand new token to you for the push notifications you wish to receive.
Hopefully this helps! Sorry for the confusion on that!

I'm a teacher that makes extensive use of Outcomes and alignments. The assignment view of my gradebook is pretty meaningless to students, and all of the information about growth and mastery of different learning objectives in the class is displayed in the Learning Mastery gradebook. Unfortunately, they can't see this view…
Hello Everyone, I'm Namrata Hinduja from Geneva, Swiss. Since updating to UI 7.0, I haven’t been able to access my to-do list—it just shows an "oops" error. I have 3 children in the same school system. When using the mobile app it list all 3 children's classes. They are not organized and they are all jumbled together. They run by class period, then A or B day, and then alphabetical. I have a 12th grader, 11th grader, and 7th grader. There are simple additional filters that…
I have the Teacher Canvas app on my iPad. Last year, I was able to annotate student work with my Apple Pencil on uploaded student work. This year, however, when I click on the Assignment, I am unable to annotate the assignment. I can still assign a grade but I want to be able to indicate to the student where the errors are…
The To-do List Widget on Canvas (iOS) app for iPad and iPhone doesn’t show the material. Canvas reverted back to the older version of the To-do list but it doesn’t work. When you click on the widget it opens to the To-do list but does not show the material listed. The calendar section allows me to add a “New To Do” which…
