Is it possible to have a "not applicable" column to a rubric that will automatically lower the total points?

Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community. You can create a rubric criteria worth 0 points that effectively won't count negatively towards a student. However, there is no "don't count this criteria" part of a rubric. You can also leave comments for students or simply not use the rubric for grading purposes and then any criteria you have filled out doesn't automatically count towards their actual grade. When you are creating a quiz and/or also reviewing a quiz in Canvas after the class has taken it, the questions aren't numbered so after you get past the first few questions, there is no way to even tell what number you are on. Can someone change that?
