Grade not showing

I've been using Canvas so years and never had this issue until this week. There are two assignments that I have to manually grade (discussion board) and a summary. I input the grades manually, but after touching Enter and going to the next student, the grade does not show up under Grades but shows a green shading (never seen this before). If I click on it, I can see the grade, but when I click out, it doesn't show. The grade is included in the totals, but I would like to see it also listed in the grade column with the others. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks.

Does what you describe look like the green shaded cell in the image displayed under the heading "Colors" in this Guide?

If so, if you take a look at the section called "Submission Type Icons" (further up in the Guide), that is an icon to tell you a submission has been received but has not yet been graded. Try going to the SpeedGrader for the assignment and the student in question where that green shaded cell is (and, I'm assuming, that icon). Are you able to see the points the student earned for that assignment on the right side of your screen? Are there any other details of the assignment that you might have overlooked...such as not releasing grades to your students until you've graded everyone for this assignment? How about any other dates you may have added for the assignment? Just trying to narrow down some possibilities for you.

Dropped Scores
I have Canvas set to drop the lowest quiz score, however, my students can only barely tell that the grade text is slightly grey when dropped. Can it have a tag like the "missing" and "exempt" ones in the student gradebook?
