Is there a way for students to type a short answer response and if so how do you create it? Also, is there a way to link the test to a google doc or slide for the student to type a response in?
In Mastery Connect, you can create a Short Text item or an Essay (Plain Text), both of which could be suitable for a short answer response. The Short Text answer requires students to enter a specific word or phrase and is automatically graded. An Essay is an open-response item that a teacher would have to read and then grade. While taking the Final MVPA, I had four students whose answers did not save. They have logged back in and there were no answers present. They had finished 24 questions on the 6th grade ELA MVPA.
