Hi! i am new here. I got a task from teacher to introduce myself on Canvas . Could you tell me please how can I do that? Which areas can I find it? Appreciate your help!
Good morning, @VasylShtets ...
There may be a variety of ways to introduce yourself to your classmates within your Canvas course. One of those could be as simple as posting a reply to a discussion topic. However, since we here in the Canvas Community do not have access to your course(s), it's pretty hard for us to know exactly what your instructor is expecting of you for this particular task. I highly recommend reaching out to your instructor directly. He/She would be able to tell you exactly where you need to go to complete this task. You can contact your instructor directly in Canvas by using the "Help" menu on the far left-hand side of your global navigation menu, and then select "Ask Your Instructor a Question". You can find more information about this link here:
How do I get help with Canvas as a student?
Hopefully you'll be able to connect with your instructor soon! Good luck!
I've had some faculty ask if could block agentic browsers such as Comet, ChatGPT Atlas, and Dia from being able to access Canvas. Have any schools taken a stance on this? Has Instructure mentioned any technical controls around this topic? I was unable to find any articles in a quick search, other than requiring LDB for all…
Breakout Discussions would enable instructors to orchestrate multi-phase discussions that mirror effective classroom facilitation patterns. Hi all, Quick question about the Gradebook color status for a 2-part checkpoint discussion. If a student completes the first due date (initial post) but does not complete the required replies by the second due date, is there any way for Canvas to automatically show a color (e.g., missing/late) instead of staying as…
Among all the things that I wish Canvas had is that one! Is it something that is been worked on? We had it in Blackboard (legacy) and I sorely miss and need in Canvas (we just transitioned to it from Bb). Please add this very needed feature!
My Canvas shell has three different sections that all meet at different times throughout the week. I need to be able to batch edit assignment due dates by section, but right now Canvas can't filter by section for batch edit. My only option is now to manually (tediously) edit due dates for each assignment individually.
