How do I add a teacher to a campus wide calendar where we track all major assessments?

We have a "Major Assessment" calendar that all the teachers have access to so they can see what other tests, quizzes, etc. are due on certain days. I have a new teacher on campus that I want to add to this calendar and the person that traditionally would have done this step is not currently here.

Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community. It may be a custom setup that your school has, but typically all calendar items are based on a user's enrollments with the school. Is there a "master assessments" course that the school adds teachers to so that they can view them in the calendar? If so, the user just needs to be added to the course, then they can view the details for those items in the calendar by enabling it on the right hand side:

If there is no course that teachers are enrolled in, you may want to contact the person(s) who created this and implemented it and find out exactly how they got all of the items to appear for users with teacher roles.
