Quiz retakes

Question

Hi all, I haven't had any response from Instructure support, and while I am aware there are some bigger fish to fry over there, I am looking pretty ineffectual to my learners because I can't fix this. It's a new course in Career and we'd like to allow retakes but that is not available. There's also an error message on every quiz and also on some of the embeds (an evaluation from Microsoft Forms).

I'm not sure if it's something on my end or not but my rep wasn't able to find any solution so we reported and escalated it last Monday (5/18). I'm desperate here! Anyone able to help me?

Hi @Jeff_F, thanks for the support. At least I know someone is noting my concerns! I have done all of the suggested bulleted items several times and still am getting an error and am unable to retake quizzes. I don't think adding an attempt via the Moderate Quiz area (which is not available in Career that I can see anyway) would be useful. This is a professional development course and I can't imagine the attorneys want to contact me every time they want to retake a quiz.

@mmorrow - regarding the error, here are a few ideas -

* check that all links and embeds use https and not http
* ensure the web browser is up to date
* try an incognito/private window. If it works there, a browser extension/plugin is likely interfering, Disable extensions/plugins and try again
* clear your browser cache and cookies

I do not use Career, but if a quiz in Career is anything like a Canvas quiz, then we can add an attempt via the Moderate Quiz area. See here —
