We’re excited to introduce IgniteAI Skill Suggestions, a new AI-powered experience in Parchment Digital Badges that helps issuers quickly identify relevant, industry-aligned skills when creating a badge. That means less time searching and an easier way to create meaningful, skills-rich credentials so learners can better showcase their skills and carry the value of their achievements into whatever comes next.
What’s new?
When creating a badge, IgniteAI Skill Suggestions analyzes the badge title, description and earning criteria and presents up to five ranked skill suggestions from the TalentNeuron taxonomy of more than 65,000 standardized skills. Issuers can quickly review the recommendations, request more suggestions, select the skills that best represent the badge, and keep creating.
Why it matters
The skills attached to a badge tell an important part of the credential story: what a learner knows and can do. As skills-based hiring continues to grow, connecting credentials to relevant, industry-aligned skills helps make learner achievements more meaningful and easier for others to understand.
IgniteAI Skill Suggestions helps issuers:
- Discover relevant skills more easily with AI-ranked suggestions based on the badge content
- Reduce taxonomy guesswork without needing to know the exact TalentNeuron terminology
- Stay in control of skill alignment by reviewing and selecting which suggestions to add
- Confidently align badges with standardized, industry-relevant skills
- Support more consistent skill selection across their badging programs
- Strengthen credential value by clearly communicating learner capabilities
With IgniteAI Skill Suggestions and stronger skill alignment, issuers can create more meaningful credentials that clearly communicate what learners know and can do.
