Is there a way to prevent instructors from hiding locked pages in courses associate with a Blueprint?

I have been unsuccessful in trying to prevent instructors from deleting locked Blueprint module items/pages in their associated courses. The locked Blueprint module item still shows up in the child course's page index, but Pages is not something that we leave visible to students in the navigation. Functionally, the locked module item/page is hidden, though I hoped to use the lock function to keep these pages visible with important institution-level policy. Is this possible?

I don't have an answer to your question, but I'm going to reply anyway for visibility, because yes.

We use blueprint courses as the "master" copy for all courses in our program. I sincerely wish there were stronger locks available so that I could prevent instructors from inadvertently editing assignments/settings in the live course, breaking the blueprint dependency, when they should be making those changes in the blueprint course. Anyone who can edit the blueprint should be able to lock anything they can edit, including a central "lock everything except student grades" toggle. Please, dead gods above and below, I beg.
