recording window blocks text or prompt

When I want to create a recording within an assignment, quiz, or page, the recording window always blocks the text that I want to record. It would be helpful to have a smaller recording window for audio-only recordings or, even better, a window that can be moved where it does not block the text. The way it is now, I have to either open the assignment again in another window (not that great if you are working with only one screen) or I have to write down or print out what I want to record. The same is true if I want to give audio feedback on student assignments - the recording window blocks what I want to comment on! It would be great if the developers could work on this one. Students also get frustrated by this when they are supposed to submit their own recordings in an assignment. Below is a screenshot of what I mean.

@maychu - I agree that this would be a useful change. You could add it as a contribution on the Canvas Collaborative Roadmap. However, one workaround that may help students is to "duplicate" the open Canvas tab, detach/undock the duplicate tab so that both are visible, and then start the recording on one of them. That way they can see the prompt on one tab and do the recording on the other. I believe that if your organization uses Canvas Next or Canvas Plus, students also have access to Studio recording capabilities within the assignment submission. When students click Record/Upload Media, they see this movable recording window (using the Move Window icon), which is nice:
