Love Grade Sync, Don't Love the Enable Nightly Sync Toggle

Question

As a Canvas Admin, I love having the ability to remaster someone's gradebook and ideally, I'd like our users to be empowered to use it as well. However, we have been advised to NOT enable nightly sync as our system is too large. It would be awesome if the Enable Nightly Sync toggle could be disassociated from the Grade Sync area so teachers don't discover it and enable it en masse, causing problems.

@JenniferKenned1 I'm not sure which version of the integration you have or even if it's available — but if you're able to access the SIS Integration Page > Grade Sync tab, there is a "Schedule" section (This links to Infinite Campus instructions but may be available for your SIS specifically) and you may be able to turn off nightly syncs from there.

That being said, I would advise contacting Canvas support first to make sure this won't cause side effects for your setup. Hope this helps!
