Anything that was published today is not showing up in Canvas for students. 9/11/26
Hey @greenjeff ,
Are you still experiencing this issue later in the day? I just took a look in my instance and I wasn't able to replicate this behavior. I do know sometimes it can take a few minutes for it to appear for all students, however it will eventually appear.
If you're still experiencing this issue, I'd highly encourage you to reach out to Canvas Support for more help, as they'll be able to investigate into it further than most of us here in the community. https://community.instructure.com/en/kb/articles/662779-how-do-i-get-help-with-canvas
Best, Noah
The issue lasted about 2 hours, but eventually it resolved itself. Thanks for checking in with us.
I am glad this resolved itself, but curious about a cause. It could have been a glitch, but I've seen something else before. If you look at the item in question's settings, look at the due date section. Does it have anything in "Available From"? This is something that can happen if that is filled out.
Thanks for reaching out. Since this occurred for all teachers that morning, I wouldn't think all teachers would have had something in the available from box? Also, everything started being available at the same time, not at different times. Make sense? I will ask teachers as well.

Canvas LMS and its mobile apps have been open source for 15 years. This means that the code is publicly available, and anyone can run the software by themselves without paying Instructure. However, ever since the hack in May, Canvas has not updated its open source repositories with any new code. Since the hack has clearly…
Our institution is setting up 9 institutional outcomes in Canvas. Several of our outcomes have multiple skill sets within the rubric. For example: Critical Reading – Skill Set A Critical Reading – Skill Set B Critical Reading – Skill Set C Our understanding is that Canvas Outcomes data reports can provide the overall/total…
I am just curiousas to why there is not a field to enter a description for an outcome at the account level? Or at least edit the rating when you attach/link an account level outcome to a rubric. When you create a new criterion for a rubric, you enter a decription for a rating, but for an account level outcome.
We use a pre- post- model to measure learning which requires student-question matching from two time periods. This requires exporting quiz data to CSV to do the analysis properly. (I can get into more detail if needed.) The New Quizzes Student Analysis CSV export has repeated blocks of ItemID then columns related to that…
