I have a reading comprehension quiz that uses New Quizzes stimulus blocks to display an excerpt from a short story or article, followed by several questions about the excerpt. I'd like to be able to put some number of these stimulus blocks (say, 6) linked to their associated questions in an item bank and then randomly pull a subset (say, 3) of these blocks with their questions on any given student's quiz, so that students aren't all reading the same excerpts.
I haven't found a way to do this. Is this possible? If so, what am I missing? How is it done?
If this is not possible, I'm not sure what the utility of a stimulus block is. How is it different from just a text block followed by questions? And, how would I submit a feature request to propose functionality such as that described above to make it more useful?
