Sending a quiz from one course to another

Question

When I choose a quiz in a previous course and then send it to a different course, the quiz shows up in the new course, in the place I directed it to be, but there is no content. No instructions and none of the questions. These are the new style quizzes. What step am I missing?

Hi @Grandma4_6,

Sending a new quiz from one course to another seems to be a 2 part process on the back-end. The first step is creating the quiz (assignment) in the new course, which happens pretty much instantly. The second step is actually populating the content into the quiz, and it does seem like this can take 10-15 minutes when there is a lot of activity happening in Canvas (like at the start of the school year). I'm wondering if your content showed up eventually or not?

Hello @Grandma4_6 !

Sorry to head that you're experiencing issues with copying one of your quizzes over to your other course. May you please clarify how you are copying this course over? The most success I have personally seen was sharing the quiz to Canvas Commons and then importing it into my new course.

I hope to hear from you soon!
