Instructure Community Weekly Highlights (August 18-24, 2026)

Heather Ahern

Welcome to the Instructure Community Weekly Highlights blog! Every Monday, we will update you with all the goings-on in the Instructure world from the previous week: community updates, product updates, new blogs to read, and everything else you'll need to know will be here!

Community Spotlights

Louisville's in the rearview, but the ideas aren't going anywhere. Every InstructureCon26 session is recorded and waiting in the InstructureCon26 Sessions category — 100+ sessions of experiments, strategies, and real classroom stories from educators putting Education in the Making to work. Browse by track, search by keyword, or just start scrolling. One catch: you'll need to be signed in to watch, so log in before you saddle up. And keep an eye out — curated mix tapes are on the way.

You are not alone….

Heather Ahern

Hi @morint60 and @SandraBrown16919630,
Will you share what is confusing you and I can try to offer some help.

For new users to the Community, it can seem like a lot. I know it was for me and took me a while to figure everything out. It is important to subscribe to and follow the most important things for you personally to help filter down the communication you receive and what you need to look through. Some good starting places are the Daily Digest and the Weekly Highlights. Following a few blogs (like the Product Blog) may be helpful, along with the Roadmap. To receive email notifications about these things, you will need to set them up in your Account, found in the upper right where the avatar or your picture is. I hope this helps a bit!

So what exactly is the infrastructure or in structure community all about and where is this going to help me during class?

Heather Ahern

Welcome @morint60!
The Instructure Community is where you can search product guides, ask questions in the Question Forums, and read blogs from other educators sharing tips and workarounds. It's a good first stop if you want to see how others have solved a similar issue or connect with peers using the same tools. I'd start with our Welcome to the Instructure Community guide to get oriented. Whether you're teaching a class or taking one, our guides can help if you get stuck along the way.
