Canvas desperately needs a feature that allows instructors to bulk edit the dates of announcements. I import the announcements from the previous semester, most of which have nothing to change in the text. But ALL of them need to have their release dates updated, which takes a long time to do one-at-a-time.
I've used a work-around in the past few years that involved a Google sheet that would import the dates, allow me to bulk edit them, and send them back to the Canvas shell. It worked beautifully. However, it's not working now, and Instructure seems to have scrubbed any mention of this work-around from the forums. I wonder if this was done intentionally. If so, I sure hope that Instructure is about to introduce a bulk edit feature for announcements that exists within Canvas.
