Over the last three years, the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) has transformed professional development from a piecemeal approach into a unified, high-impact learning ecosystem. By integrating Canvas, Catalog, Parchment Digital Badges, and Intelligent Insights, the NMPED empowers educators, administrators, school personnel, and charter school leaders in their learning. Our ecosystem spans across specialized state bureaus such as Assessment, College and Career Readiness, Math/Science, Educator Growth & Development, Literacy & Humanities, Special Education and the APL micro-credentialing program to increase teacher pay levels.
