Session Description
In an increasingly AI-enabled workplace, tools can automate tasks and scale workflows—but people remain the driving force behind collaboration, trust, and problem-solving. In this peer-led, interactive workshop, participants will explore how human connection and perspective-taking are essential for thriving in global, remote teams.
Through hands-on activities—including a perspective-taking exercise where participants experience how the same tools and workflows are interpreted differently across roles and contexts—small-group discussions, and real-world examples (Canvas Country Contacts, bilingual AI Fair, and Innovation Playgrounds), participants will see how human-centered approaches drive better outcomes, even when AI is part of the workflow. Attendees will leave with practical ideas to strengthen relationships, foster trust, and design connection across distributed teams—along with inspiration and guidance to create their own AI Fair or Innovation Playground–style spaces across languages, regions, and roles.
