Session Description
For many small institutions, the Canvas Data API feels like a locked door. Without a dedicated data analyst or IT developer, small teams are often left relying on anecdotal evidence and basic login stats to measure success. When our liberal arts college (FTE 2600) transitioned to Canvas, we knew usage was growing, but we couldn't see the "how" or the "where."
In this session, we will share how our two-person Canvas admin team used Intelligent Insights to bridge the gap between raw data and actionable faculty support. We will demonstrate how we moved beyond "LMS logins" to track specific feature adoption—like New Quizzes and Gradebook usage—allowing us to provide surgical, targeted training.
