Converting a Canvas Exam to Word?

Question

I haven't been able to find any solutions that currently work. Respondus has been suggested but my college does not have that available in Canvas. I've printed one exam from Canvas as a pdf but that isn't the best solution.

I found a 30-day trial I could use but before doing that I wanted to ask if anyone else has tried it? I need to convert four exams to Word for a class I will be teaching in person this term. https://web.respondus.com/support/download-respondus-4-0/

Any currently working suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you! I'm still using Classic Quizzes, BUT this gave me a start on how to move in the right direction using a Sandbox shell. Thank you! ~ T

Hi @pattene,

Apologies for my confusion.  If you have New Quizzes available at your school/institution, you can follow the How do I print a quiz in New Quizzes? to get a PDF copy of a quiz.  If your goal is to just print exams, that would be sufficient.  If you really ened them as editable word docs, you could open the PDF with a current version of Microsoft Word and save it as a .docx, or you could open with the full version of Adobe Acrobat and export as a docx (results may vary with either method though).

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately, that post looks like it does the reverse of what I'm trying to do.  I'm trying to convert current Canvas exams to Word docs to print out for in-class use this fall. ~T
