Has anyone figured out how to get Canvas Guide videos into a format that can be added to New Impact guides?

I would love to be able to leverage the videos available in Canvas Guides as part of my guides in the new Impact platform.

Unfortunately the links for Canvas video guides are not in a format accepted by the New Impact editor, which is a shame. The format is not recognized by Instructure's Studio platform either, which is also a shame.

Does anyone have a workaround for bringing Canvas-built video content into Instructure's inline tutorial platform? Surely I am missing some obvious trick.

Thanks to anyone who can point me to some solutions.

Hi @sdierk ! Our community actually utilizes screensteps and not Studio for these community videos. While we don't have an integration with screensteps at this time, we are exploring an integration with the community space to help bring in some of this content. More information will be shared soon as to what to expect with this integration. In the meantime, I would recommend linking out to the video, or using another video format (such as Studio, where we do have an active integration.)

Thanks for taking a look at this.

I put together this quick, rough video, showing the Impact editing interface, the Studio interface and a Canvas LMS Guide with a video that has a shareable link.

Let me know if this is enough for you to go on. I'm really hoping that I'm missing something glaringly obvious.
