To help users build confidence in navigating the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence, we are offering the Fundamentals of AI Literacy course. This foundational course is available in the On-Demand Training Portal across all subscription levels: Free, Essential, Standard, and Premium.
Designed to equip learners with foundational AI knowledge, this training is structured into progressive modules. You will explore core concepts, including:
- Key Terminology & Prompting: Differentiate between generative and agentic AI, and refine your prompt engineering skills.

This course is available to Essential, Standard, and Premium subscribers and covers the IgniteAI features available at the Canvas Core, Plus, and Next tiers.
Designed as a dynamic, self-paced resource, this training features standalone modules so you can go straight to the content most relevant to your role. You will explore six core feature options:
- Search for Courses: Leverage semantic algorithms to quickly find relevant pages, assignments, and announcements without needing exact keyword matches.
- Summaries for Discussions: Save time on lengthy threads by instantly generating concise overviews of student dialogue.
- Translations for Discussions and Announcements: Break down language barriers and foster equitable participation across multilingual classrooms.

This training guides you through three robust feature options that alleviate time-intensive grading and review tasks:
- Generator for Rubrics: Instantly generate editable rubrics with suggested criteria, point values, and performance levels tailored to your open-ended assignments.
- Grading Assistance for SpeedGrader: Streamline the evaluation of text-based assignments by reviewing transparent, criteria-aligned scoring and feedback suggestions.
