You can Clone or Copy a Curriculum Map (CMAP) by clicking on this Copy button (Screenshot below) via "Maps" page.
"District Approved" Curriculum Maps cannot be copied or cloned by any user, even the author of the map, preventing unapproved edits or confusion among copied versions. See below for a workaround.
If you do not see the copy button, check if there is a Tick/Check mark "
" before the Map's name, this indicates this is a "District Approved" Curriculum Map.
If you are a District-Admin, you can login as the teacher account that created the CMAP via Admin > Manage > Teachers > Search for the Teacher > Login. Navigate to the "Maps" page, click on the Pencil icon to edit a District Approved CMAP, toggle the "District Approved" switch off and "Update" (Screenshot below):
Now this CMAP is not "District Approved" and can be copied. Click on the Copy button, you can then archive the old CMAP and work/edit the new copied version. When you are done editing, make it "District Approved" (If needed).
