We're bringing these interactive workshops to both our Higher Education and K-12 communities. Each workshop is tailored to its audience, but both share the same choose-your-own-experience format with live product demonstrations, conversations with the Canvas product team, and practical ideas you can take back to your institution or district.
Session Description
Canvas has evolved rapidly, but many institutions are only scratching the surface of what's possible. In these interactive, choose-your-own-experience sessions, attendees will rotate among topic stations led by the Canvas product team. Each station will feature live demonstrations and discussion around capabilities that support faculty and teacher efficiency, learner engagement, accessibility, flexible assessment, and responsible AI-supported workflows. Explore the topics most relevant to your institution, exchange ideas with peers, and uncover new opportunities to maximize your Canvas investment. Leave with practical strategies, product insights, and actionable next steps for your campus.
What these sessions are really about
We all know how it goes: a new tool or feature drops, you mean to look into it, but the school year gets busy, and it slips through the cracks. Before you know it, you’re only using a fraction of what Canvas can actually do.
These sessions are designed for both our K-12 and Higher Education communities in the format of an interactive, product-led workshop built around practical implementation and peer-to-peer discussion.
When you walk into the room, you get to choose your own adventure. We are setting up topic stations where you can dive deep into built-in Canvas features that consistently drive high satisfaction but often see lower utilization across campuses and districts. You'll get to explore gems like:
Higher Education Session:
- Peer Review (Core): Streamline collaborative feedback loops.
- Showcase + Evaluation Portfolio (Core): Make learner growth visible and portable.
- Enhanced Rubrics (Core): Provide clearer, faster grading criteria for educators.

K12 Session:
