We've added 10 new out-of-the-box (OOTB) Shared Layouts to Impact by Instructure. Each one started life as an Impact Legacy walkthrough or message campaign, and we've redesigned them as multistep guides for both instructor and student workflows:
A few things to know before you get started.
These layouts don't carry over button automations or step locations from the original Impact content. You'll set those up manually after creating your guide from the layout. That's a quick step, and the previews include location suggestions for each step to help you move through it faster. Each step can also contain hyperlinks to full Community guides, so users can click through to more detail on any topic covered.
Measuring performance.
To track how your guides perform, go to the Guide Metrics area within the guide and add the features you want to measure there.
We're continuously adding OOTB Shared Layouts and keeping page tags and available features current to reflect the latest Canvas functionality.
