Files embedded in overlay fail to display in New Quizzes

Engineers are currently investigating the issue.

Summary:

In New Quizzes, hyperlinked files configured to {{Preview in overlay}} will fail to display, when {{New Quizzes Canvas Native Integration}} FF is disabled.

User Expected behavior:

When clicking the hyperlinked file it should display the attached document’s content in a new overlay.

Steps to reproduce:

Prerequisite: Create a course and make sure {{New Quizzes Canvas Native Integration}} is disabled.

Create a New Quiz.
Choose any area within a New Quiz that utilizes the RCE and upload a supported document file.
By default {{Preview in overlay}} is selected; however, make sure it is selected.
Take the quiz as a student, or preview it while building.
1. Observe the hyperlinked document will appear unresponsive.
