Summary:
When a New Quiz has a ‘Fill in the blank’ question setup to use ‘dropdown’ selection and many answers it can cause an issue where students aren’t able to scroll through the answer list and pick the right answer when taking the quiz on a mobile device or devices with a small display This was originally reported by users accessing quizzes through the mobile apps.
Expected Behavior:
Users should be able to scroll through the list and select the right answers
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new quiz with a fill in the blank question with multiple blanks
- I found it easiest if the blanks were in a table above each other
- Setup the question as a dropdown and add 10+ answers/distractors to the answer
- Login to the student app
- When picking the drop downs occasionally the list will freeze and you won’t be able to scroll through it and instead it will scroll your view
- Other times it will put the answers outside of the view and not allow you to scroll to them, but instead bounce back down
