This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 6/17/26.
Summary:
New Quizzes which are published are synced over as unpublished to associated courses.
Expected Behavior:
To retain the published status on sync. Our guides state that: “The sync will include the state of each object as it exists in the blueprint course.”
Workaround:
Manually publishing the quiz is still possible.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a blueprint course and a published new quiz inside it.
- Sync the course contents over to an association.
- Notice that the published new quiz got synced over as unpublished.
