I would like to suggest a refinement to the current permission structure for “Item Banks – manage account.” Right now, this permission appears to combine multiple levels of access into a single setting. Separating it into more specific permissions—such as “view all item banks” and “edit all item banks”—could improve both usability and security.
By splitting these permissions, administrators would have greater flexibility in assigning roles. For example, some users may only need visibility into item banks for review or auditing purposes, while others may require full editing capabilities. Keeping these functions bundled together may lead to granting more access than necessary.
What are your thoughts on separating viewing and editing permissions? Are there any potential drawbacks or additional considerations that should be taken into account when refining permission levels?
