This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 5/6/26.
Summary:
When the New Quizzes Canvas Native Integration feature flag is enabled, students can see Item Banks in the course navigation. When attempting to access the Item Banks, students see an error stating “Oops, something went wrong. We have logged the error and will investigate.”
Expected Behavior:
Students should not be able to see Item Banks in the course navigation when the New Quizzes Canvas Native Integration feature flag is enabled.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Enable the New Quizzes Canvas Native Integration feature flag for a course
- Ensure that Item Banks is enabled in the course navigation
- Act as a student and notice that you see Item Banks appear in the navigation
- Attempt to click on Item Banks and receive an error
