How do I create a list of assignments and score received by each student in my course in canvas? This will let student know where they stand in terms of course grade.
Hello @sdara - the course navigation often includes a Grades view. When students select this, they then have access within the course to view their grades and your feedback (rubric scores, comments, etc.). I've included links to guides that show how to add Grades to the navigation (if needed) and for the Gradebook view. Note the student view is different from the instructor view. To see the student view go to Grades > select the student's name > then select the Grades button on the sidebar.

Hi @sdara …
@Jeff_F provided some great resources for you! If you are also asking how to populate your course Gradebook with assignments in your course, that is all done mainly through the "Assignments" index page of your course. (Though, you can also create graded Discussion topics and Quizzes via those two index pages which will also appear on the "Assignments" index page, too.) For each graded assignment in your course, a matching column will appear in your Gradebook view as an instructor. (Student view of the Gradebook is a bit different than yours, but still lists all assignments.)
Here are some Guides:
I hope this extra bit of information is helpful as well.
I am currently experiencing an issue where a student’s assignment grade appears in Moderate, but it is not populating in the Canvas gradebook. I have verified the submission is there, but the grade is still missing from the gradebook view. Is there a known fix or additional step needed to get the grade to display properly?
Hi all, Quick question about the Gradebook color status for a 2-part checkpoint discussion. If a student completes the first due date (initial post) but does not complete the required replies by the second due date, is there any way for Canvas to automatically show a color (e.g., missing/late) instead of staying as…
Canvas Portfolios provide a powerful platform for students to document their learning journey, reflect on their progress, and showcase competencies. However, in programs where multiple educators are involved in assessment—such as team teaching, moderation, or competency-based evaluation—there are important questions about…
Hi There, We are in the process of transitioning to Canvas this year and were wanting to connect with any other MYP schools to see how you setup Assignment and grading under your modules. Or you could guide us to any resources you may have.
Our "Outcomes" has not been working for about 6 months. Teachers can't build and attach Outcomes to new quizzes. Canvas said it was a rollover issue. Canvas won't fix it unless we pay them $2000 to "re-train" us for 10 hours. Has anyone had this problem and did it get fixed?
