Sometimes we have assignments that don't count toward the final grade. While "ungraded" quizzes don't populate in the gradebook, these assignments do - they show up in the gradebook for instructors and for students. This can be confusing. Additionally, I can't seem to find a way to turn on a "points total" in the final column of the gradebook, so there is not real confirmation that this assignment "won't be counted."
I can't know it isn't counted unless I download a spreadsheet and do math things to it.
Suggestion: I would love to see ALL the assignments in the gradebook, but also see some qualifier - color coding or a denotation below the assignment (both in Assignments and in Gradebook) that notes that this grade will NOT count.
