New Account Role

Question

I seem to be having trouble with creating a new account role for using Intelligent Insights. I want to create a role for each of the four tools. I tried Course Readiness by granting permissions to Intelligent Insights - Course Readiness. That didn't work. I add the Analytics Hub permission - that didn't work. I followed the instructions in the video, but maybe I am missing something else? Anyone else having an issue?

@Jennifer_Mayes I think you are saying this: You want to give a user access to Course Readiness only or Students in Need of Attention only, not necessarily Admin Analytics as well. Is that right?

If so, you're right, the permissions for those apps are currently linked. I'll add this to our feedback, thanks! One question: can you explain a little bit about the different roles you are trying to give access and why you want them to be separate? (just so I understand the whole context) Thank you!

Hello, both times I attempted this, it took about 1.5 hours for the access to show up. Additionally, by creating a permission for course readiness (or any of the 4), it provides the user access to all analytics data related to students and courses since they have to go through the Analytics Hub. That's not information I need each one of these roles to have access to unfortunately.

Hello Jennifer, that should work.  It does take some time (about 15 minutes) to take effect. Has anything changed with time?
