@DayanaBlanchard ...
Hello there. Are you saying that you cannot access one or more courses within your school's Canvas environment? Or, are you saying that you cannot see a discussion topic / post in a Canvas course that you are taking at your school?
If you aren't able to access one or more courses, first look at your "Courses" >> "All Courses" screen within Canvas. Do you see your course(s) listed there? If so, the course(s) may not be published yet. Typically, your instructor would need to publish the course(s) so that you and your classmates can get access to the content. Usually, the instructor would want to publish the course on or near the official course start date.
How do I view all my Canvas courses as a student?
If you are able to access your course(s), are you asking about discussion topics / postings? If so, you may need to reach out to your instructor to get more information on this. Unfortunately, a large majority of Canvas Community members don't have access to your school's Canvas environment or any of your courses, so we wouldn't be able to determine how discussion topics have been set up by your instructor(s). It would be best to contact your instructor directly...which you can do via Canvas by following this Guide: How do I get help with Canvas as a student?.
I hope this information will be of help to you. Please let Community members know if there is anything else we can do to help...thanks! Good luck to you!
I have used Blackboard, Moodle, and now work at a Canvas university. When grading quiz items. I want the ability to view all of the students' responses to a single item at once. This could allow consistency in grading and speed up the grading process. This functionality has been available in Moodle for over 10 years.
Has anyone ever encountered this error in the Admin Analytics Student section?
My class policy is that late assignments can be accepted at professor discretion, but they will have a 50% penalty. This is a gate you pass through once, and there are no further penalties. If it's late, you simply get 50% deducted from whatever the score was. This happens regardless of whether it's 5 hours late or 5 weeks…
Teachers often assume that because an assignment is a groupassignment, they will automatically grade it per group via SpeedGrader. With the option “Grade students individually”, they think they’re simply assigning the group grade to each individual student — without realizing that this option actually requires them to…
Hi There, We are in the process of transitioning to Canvas this year and were wanting to connect with any other MYP schools to see how you setup Assignment and grading under your modules. Or you could guide us to any resources you may have.
